Not only Bandung that could make an exciting show for indie music lovers. Yup! On Wednesday, February 5th 2007 Literature Project (LP) Broadcast Media jatinangor together with Hima Sastra Inggris(English Hima Literature) and Greenpeace is presenting a show that is titled Indie Air Recycle at Gor Pakuan Jatinangor. This is the show’s 3rd year and is also a show that has been waiting for by a lot of people, because every single year the show has always presented indie guys/girls that are popular. For example last year, there were Goodnight Electric, White Shoes And The Couples Company, The Paps, Olive Tree, Glory Of love, etc. How could those students at Jatinangor weren’t waiting for them? The show that has global warming as their theme had a pre event on December 3rd and 4th 2007 at Gerbang Unpad Jatinangor. The show itself starts from handing out pins & flyers, recycle t-shirt campaign, and also things towards global warming. There is also some guys/girls from LP that were really concern about global warming that they would wear a costume that wrapped them up in a shroud which was very hot and just sunbathe under the sun with a big carton box that has writings about anti global-warming. Really amazed by them!! Even though it’s like that, actions from those LP’s guys and girls deserve the two-thumbs up because they were successful in gathering some of the ticket sales money to be donated to a special international anti global warming organization, which is called Greenpeace. The show started on 4pm sharp. It started with a performance from audition bands like Tuesday-Tuesday, 24 Hours Service, Never Summer, Getsoyoubi, Red Carpet, Nimbus Sirius and Swing Star. After the “evening prayer – maghrib “break then they really opened and ran the show. It was hosted by duo MC Upiet and Jaink which was started by a performance from The Retirement of a Role (The Retro) that could attract some people that were outside the venue to get inside and enjoy the show. After The Retro, there was Masked Herois with their single Paradise Lover that shocks the stage with their electric songs, this band that was endorsed by Greenlight and Moutley made the After that, there were Goodbye Badminton and Cascade that shows they were pretty successful in making the audiences to go forward to the side of the stage. Phew! Finally the show from the band that all of the guests has been waiting for. Yup! Who else if it wasn’t D’ Cinnamons. They also played 6 or their best songs for example, “Selamanya CInta”,, “Loving you”, “Kuyakin cinta”, etc. Not only Dodo and Laut that can make Jatinangor sensationized , Bona being the only guy in D’Cinnmmoms also can make the female audiences screaming histerically and even some of them we’re trying to force the security to let them up on the stage. Their performance is totally You won’t regret coming to this show. Even after D’Cinnamons finish there was still more big-stars tha are going to play in this Indie Air Recycle show. It’s true that this year’s Indie Air is a little bit different from before. Even after the guest star is out, but that doesn’t mean that this show is finished just like that. After D’Cinnamons there was still Vincent Vega that made most of the girls audience won’t move out from the venue. Of course! It was because the performance from the vocalist can hypnotize the whole mass audiences that were inside venue at that time. Ohhh, and also there were a lot of people at Jatinangor that likes reggae music, cause it was proven after Vincent Vega finished, Subkultur moved the whole Gor Pakuan Padjajaran. Especially when Subkultur was singing their own song, no one could have guessed that the audiences were going to sing along with them. After the reggae time, it’s time for Mesin Tempur to close this show. This 1 metal band that still sticks to each other and also with their togetherness in wearing the skull masks which they wore during their whole performance on the stage was very cool for the ending of this year’s show. With their metal songs like Mari Berhitung, Becak Ti Guling, Mari Membaca, Mob Bali I, Bom Bali II, etc. They deserve thumbs up too! Salute for LP Broadcast Media guys and girls, especially after we hear that they sold more than 1300 tickets. Wow that’s so cool!! That total around Jatinangor area can be recognized as a very successful event. Sooo can’t wait for the next dating 4th Indie Air. Oh yea, and also the show that finished right at 12 o’clock at night won’t be as successful without the sponsors that participated towards this event specially the 2 main sponsors, Greenlight and Moutley. Definitely, Two thumbs up!!!
