1. Hello Missiles And Markers, can you guys please state your names and what you do in the band ?
Chris- Vocals Blendy- guitars Flip- drums Migs-guitars and Tom McCarthy.... on bass
2. How did the band first form ?
Mike and flip were long childhood friends, who got together with me while i was doing the singer-songwriter thing. Tom was a high school football star who blew out his knee right before the big game. so he became emo. and Blendy we won in a card game with a bar owner.
3. You guys come on New Jersey United States, how about the music scene in there ?
Its hot and cold. Some nights the room will be packed, others there will be five kids there. So its important to pick the right shows with the right promoter.
4. Why you choose Missiles and Markers name for your band?
Are there is a story behind the name? I think i was trying to say something about the duality of man... theres no real story... Me and our first guitarist daryl the ginger kid dreamed it up.
5. I've received your cd, why you choose that picture to be a cover for your cd ? And who's the girl?
Tom did the artwork for the website and cd, and that is Toms girlfriend on the side Diana
6. Why you choose Roses in Ransom for the title ?
It was an original lyric from silent november that got cut, and i liked it alot so i put it there!
7. What is the meaning of Pomona ?
Pomona is an exit on the Garden State Parkway where i met the girl
8. Any record that you have sign for?
We are in negotiations with two labels right now
9. What you call your genre?
post punk, emo, indie? or else? Fun
10. What's the craziest thing that's happened to you guys on the band?
Crazy shit goes down all the time! We trash hotel rooms and order chunky salsa. But being on opie and anthony was fucking awesome. Thanks to trins hiney.
11. If you have a chance, which band you wish to have a gig with?
Alkaline Trio!
12. What's the best album of all time?
For me The Beatles White album
13. What’s the best music clip of all time? And why you choose that?
There are so many songs out there that are amazing. I seem to have a new favorite every week, but i can always groove to the cure or the beatles. Flip is a big musical fan. Hes goes to the city with mike and they will see rent and wicked.
14. What’s your influence?
Real life events or something that has touched me, wether its a movie or song or anything
15. Can you explain the creative process that goes into writing songs? Is it a group process, or does one of you take the creative reigns?
Usually i get and idea then bring it to the other guys. But every song bakes different
16. Any plans in 2008?
Yeah expect lots of new tracks and a tour darling

18. What do you think about Three Second design? I defenitly support independent clothing ad rock it whenever i can!
